The Sensory Room

Why we built it

For a lot of families, a "simple" haircut is anything but. Bright lights, buzzing clippers, and a busy salon floor can turn a quick trim into a hard day. We built the Sensory Room so every client, kids and adults alike, can feel comfortable and leave feeling successful.

What's inside

1. Soft, adjustable lighting: no harsh salon glare
2. Quiet clippers: less buzz for sensitive ears
3. Weighted capes: calming pressure during the cut
4. Bubble lamps, sensory toys, and puzzles: something to focus on
5. Bean bag seating: sit however feels best
6. Your soundtrack: pick the music or show

How it works

1. Say hello first. We recommend a quick visit before the appointment to meet your stylist and see the room.
2. Tell us about yourself or your child. When you book, you'll fill out a short form so we can plan around what helps and what doesn't.
3. Take the time you need. Each appointment is 45 minutes, one-on-one, in a private room. Your time is reserved for you, however the cut goes.
